Breaking news!  Headline reads in all local papers "Confidence in oneself and listening to people's advice to open doors and introduce yourself pays off!"  Details to follow:    I went to an AA meeting this morning before my job interview this afternoon.   I got up and spoke for the first time!  Felt liberating and inspiring (maybe there is something more to this group).   Had interview this afternoon with Senior Manager, which seemed to go well, said he thought I would fit the culture and be...

Hi - its Thursday!  Going to be a great day.  I am going to do a favor for a close friend this morning which I am really happy about.  I don't think I am doing it for any other reason than to help, I think there are no selfish feelings of what is in it for me.  I really hope not other than a genuine feeling of being helpful!  I go to the doctor today.  Thank God is all I can say.  The panic attacks have gotten a lot worse in just 24 hours.  I had a major one last night while I was reading mat...

About Me


My name is bluedove. Not really, but I am not brave enough to use my real name yet. Some of you will know who I am and that is ok. I developed an alcohol problem some time ago and I want to help myself recover by exercising my guilt, regret, and demons but I also want to create a forum were others can get support as well. My hope is this initiative helps me and others by creating an online virtual addiction support forum. I am not a professional counselor nor do I have any training in addiction services. I do however, have a soul that needs to be healed and I would like to help others by sharing and perhaps giving them the opportunity to share as well in the aim that we can help each other.
